Description

Director of Theater/Faculty Position

 

This position has several components:

1. Director of Theater Program and campus theater company, the Villa Players. This includes selecting, directing, and producing 3-4 main stage productions per academic year.
2. Teaching: Courses in acting, directing, and theater history for the BA and minor in Theater.
3. Recruiting prospective students for the BA in theater and students for the campus theater company
4. Managing the theater and area when outside organizations rent.

 

Requirements for the position:

MFA in Acting or Directing

3-4 years experience acting, and/or directing for a campus, community or professional theater company or teaching theater at the college level.
