The Department of Biological Sciences invites applicants to apply for a full-time, renewable, assistant professorship beginning August 2021. A Ph.D. from a regionally accredited university is required. The position requires broad training in the cellular/molecular field and biomedical sciences, including the expertise to teach upper-level courses (which could include: Biochemistry and Histology), as well as various lower-level courses for majors and non-majors.
Successful candidates must provide evidence of quality teaching experience. In addition to teaching, the position will require academic advising for departmental majors, service on college committees, continuing scholarly engagement, and collaborative research with undergraduate students.
