Debby Shipp is the director of Co-operative Education & Corporate Engagement for Thomas More University’s Robert W. Plaster College of Business. She is responsible for oversight, programmatic development, and implementation of the College of Business semester and year-round co-op program. She successfully connects graduates in career opportunities, designs and offers professional development curricula for students and alumni to ensure their success, and engages local, regional, and national corporations in becoming partners with the University to advance opportunities for students and alumni.
Debby has over 20 years of human resources experience in the thoroughbred racing, motorsports, and travel industries. She was on the management team of a 106,000 seat start up. In her positions, Debby was afforded the opportunity to use continuing education to attract candidates, keep employees engaged, and improve retention.
Before coming to Thomas More University, she worked four and a half years, at the Northern Kentucky Chamber where she was the vice president of business growth and international affairs. At the chamber she delivered assistance, professional development, and educational programming for businesses to help them grow their employee’s professional development and strengthen their business relationship with the region and the world.
